Demigod was Behemoth's seventh album and was originally released in 2004 to great acclaim. This helped further propel the band to the forefront of the extreme metal genre with some savage riffs, technical mastery, combined with lyrical themes exploring occultism and mythology. Demigod was recorded at Hendrix Studios, Poland, then moving to Dug Out Studios in Sweden for the mixing process. The album also features a guest appearance by Karl Sanders of US death gods, Nile.
