While it's been four years since the preceding Evil Strikes Again - indeed, it did! - the Colombians show no signs of slowing down or wimping out on Hungry as the Beast, thus proving its title and then some. Released earlier this year on CD in South America via the band's own Dirty Sound Records, this worldwide edition of Hungry as the Beast should more than satiate the demonic lust of WITCHTRAP's fervent legions, proving that their urgency is as potent as ever even if the length of time between albums grows. We should only be so lucky to have this Hunger, that by-now-characteristic foundation of Welcome to Hell-meets-Evil Invaders, and that WITCHTRAP can sharpen their blades in such a manner without coming off too clean.
